For more than 30 years, Bellevue Church has been part of the greater Seattle community. For nearly three decades, Pastors Peter and Gabriella van Breda have led the church with a commitment to creating a welcoming, multiethnic community where people can gather, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith.
Grounded in the truth of God’s Word, Bellevue Church values a simple and genuine approach to church: biblical teaching, worship, prayer, and meaningful relationships. We want to be a place where people from different backgrounds and walks of life feel welcome and can grow in their faith.
Through seasons of challenge and growth, God has remained faithful. As Bellevue Church looks toward its next chapter, our purpose remains the same: to love and serve people, share the hope of Jesus Christ, and equip future generations to live out their faith wherever God has placed them.
About Our Senior Pastors
Originally from South Africa, Pastors Peter and Gabriella van Breda have faithfully served as the Senior Pastors of Bellevue Church since 1996. Before coming to Bellevue, they pioneered churches, founded one of South Africa's first multiracial Christian schools, and developed a lifelong passion for equipping Christian leaders. Today, their ministry continues to extend both locally and globally through Bellevue Church, World Impact Network, and The New International University. Whether serving the greater Seattle community or investing in leaders around the world, their heart remains the same: to teach God's Word, see lives transformed, and help people discover and live out God's purpose for their lives.
