Letter from Peter and Gaby:
Well dear friends, we are into an extended stay - per Governor Inslee this time it will be until the 4th May. This, on top of the weeks we already have had to “Stay home stay healthy” seems an eternity. But dear ones, it is for our own safety and wellbeing.
One of the things we are doing is keeping to our schedules. We get up at the same time. Do the normal things to get ready - get some coffee and then go to our offices and work.
Later in the morning we will stop for a break and then get back to work. We will work through until dinner where we take a two-hour break and then back into our studies until about 10:30pm.
And oh yes, if Gaby can drag Peter out of the front door we will go for a walk - Peter lagging behind about four or five steps as Gaby powers on while Peter grumbles (you can imagine the picture)
We don’t know what your normal routine is and can only envision how difficult it is for kids - especially little ones. But let us encourage you to develop a rhythm that works for you and your family.
Think about the opportunities that have been forced on us at this time - maybe for the first time in a very long time you actually can sit down and have a meal together as a family.
Those of you who are alone - do the same and make the effort to reach out to others - FaceTime, whatever, but do not allow yourself to fall into a rut.
Bottom line - this will pass and then we will look back at it and thank the Lord that He brought us through.
Please think about our Nurses, Doctors, those in the medical field, First Responders and Police - they are literally putting themselves on the frontline for us each day. Please pray for them - they need us to be praying and lifting them up.
Then one other thing - pray for those who have lost loved ones already and pray for those who are not well. Many times these are people - family, friends, colleagues or the next door neighbor who are going through this - reach out and serve them in some way
Finally, please know we continue to lift each one of you up in prayer and mention you by name to our Father - even although we physically can’t see you each one of you are in our hearts.
We love you and miss you - please call, text or email if there is any way we can serve you
Peter and Gabriella
